Daily Chapel is a great way to start the elementary school day. This week some sixth graders entertained our kindergartners with story time while waiting for the service to begin. These Sixth Graders went "Beyond the Classroom" today to experience a zipline course. This type of activity tests their strength, balance, team-building, and problem-solving skills. Our Fifth Graders take on a leadership role alongside many staff members each morning by acting as our Carpool Safety Crew. Carpool sets the tone for all Panthers, big and small, to start their day off right. WP First Graders recently finished a unit on geography - with the final lesson covering facts about the Great State of Texas! Wesley Prep Primer Students went Beyond the Classroom to the Children's Aquarium at Fair Park where they got to touch sting rays, see a school of fish and a star fish, watch sharks, learn about the Texas Guadalupe fish, and "Doctor" fish nibbled on their fingers! They explored the grounds around Fair Park and saw snapping turtles. It was the perfect way to complete their unit about underwater wildlife and the Texas rivers that flow into the Gulf of Mexico. #WeAreWP #wesleyprep #Primer #BeyondTheClassroom #ChildrensAquarium

The WP Track and Field Team did an outstanding job yesterday - we competed at a very high level against 9 area schools. Our 5th grade girls, 6th grade girls, 4th grade boys, 5th grade boys, and 6th grade boys were awarded third place overall! WOW!
